Marianne was born into a family of artists and excelled in art at school, but family commitments prevented her from pursuing her artistic ambitions until her children became old enough to be independent.

With increasing available free time, Marianne studied; gaining an 'A' Level in Art and City and Guilds in Stained Glass and also Portraiture. She has also taken courses in Woodcarving, Botanical Drawing and an Art Foundation Course..

The following pages show samples of Marianne's work; which are not to be reproduced without permission. None of the work is for sale, with the possible exception of her book, which it is anticipated will be published in the near future.

This site was created to display Marianne's works of art in an easily accessible location, for family, friends and 'passers by' to view.
